Steve Hoshel sent in a few photos of Rapido cars on a Freemo layout.

"I am sending some photos of Rapido passenger cars on our Freemo layout. As can be seen in the photos, it has a long way to go as far scenery is concerned. These photos were taken at the Grey Central train show in Holland Centre, ON.  The cars are stock Rapido 1954 CNR colours coupled to  FPA-2 and FPB-2 units in the same paint scheme. The locomotives are old Life-Like P2K units."

"The scenery on the featured module is some what based on a picture in Dale Wilson's National Passenger Chronicle  Vol.2.This picture was taken south of Parry Sound."

Gilles Rivest is the assistant supervisor of the mini-trains room at Exporail near Montreal. The Rapido team visited their museum back in August and while there Dan helped them set up their TurboTrain. As Gilles tells it:

"I want to thank you Mr Shron and all your team for your visit ... A special thanks to Mr.Dan Garcia who take care and gave a lot of explanations for our consist of the CN Turbo Train...our Turbo Train is running greatly..."

"We hope the cooperation between Exporail and Rapido Trains will continue and we will always be pride to roll, present and recommend to our visitors all your products."

Thanks Gilles, and thanks to all the staff at Exporail for their helpwith out LRC project!

Sylvain Duclos sent in another great bunch of images, along with some comments.

"Just to let you know I got a a Steam Geny this afternoon.

Took the afternoon off and strolled into my LHS and there it was! I guess I did not pre-order it, so was lucky to get one at all.

So here's a few pics of it on the layout: The BoEC (it's super hot here today +34C, so I am in the basement working on the Victoria Bridge -Mtl- highly compressed!)

I must say the craftmanship in your products is outstanding! Even the guys at the LHS are always amazed at it.... Was surprised by the amount of smoke once it kicks-in and the noise of the fan/motor. Working great! "

"...pics taken of the CN (with CN-VIA Steam Geny) passenger trains that runs between Montreal and Quebec city.  Location is a few miles from Saint-Hyacinthe. The station you see is Saint-Hyacinthe. I modelled it  to the best of my modelling abilities (looked at pictures of track arrangement, station location, building nearby etc.. and it is "close-enough" )

We have just one comment to add.... "Wow!"

Peter Korschefsky sent in the following:

"I purchased one of you steam generator cars undecorated. I have painted
it up in the only one ONRail owns.  It is a BCRail car converted to a HEP
car. I have removed the steam generation unit in side to make room for a
sound decoder.  Here is a photo of what I did.  I think your product is
great.  The GP38 is not finished hence no railings. The coaches are yours
and are also great."

Thanks Peter!
