For comfortable long distance travel on a budget, the leg-rest coach was the smart choice in the second half of the 20th century. It was also used on some railroads to provide a premium service to daytime trains.
The Rapido Trains Inc. model features:

- Full interior detail, including individual seats in the reclined, partially reclined and upright positions
- Super-detailed 41-BNO-11 trucks
- Factory-painted and installed metal grab irons and stirrups, including interior corridor handrails
- Operating diaphragms with end gates
- Separate marker lamps

All of our Super Continental Line passenger cars feature battery-powered interior LED lighting which is turned on and off by our Rapido Lighter,
essentially a magnet on a stick. Wave the Lighter over the AC hatch on
the roof, and the lights turn on. Wave it again, and the lights turn
off. No more coach yards filled with lighted cars draining your power
pack, and no more flicker! Each car comes with a Rapido Lighter and two
batteries.
