We are pleased to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Model RailroaderŽ magazine with an exclusive new HO scale "Dayniter" leg-rest
coach lettered for Model Railroader's club layout, the Milwaukee, Racine and Troy. The model will be released in late 2008, and is
a very limited run. Orders should be placed with Rapido dealers by July 1st to guarantee delivery.
The new passenger car for this freelance railroad has its own fictional history. Our president Jason Shron tells the story:
"In 1994, the Milwaukee, Racine and Troy purchased a group of 10 'Dayniter' coaches second-hand from VIA Rail Canada for commuter
service between Milwaukee and Williams Bay. Until 2007, the paint scheme was the VIA Rail paint scheme with the VIA logo blacked
out and MR&T stencilled in on top. They became rather threadbare.

"In 2008, the MR&T received a donation from Kalmbach Publishing to refurbish the interiors and to paint the cars in a new,
proprietary paint scheme. The Model Railroader 75th Anniversary logo was included on the cars by the MR&T as a gesture of
appreciation.
"I'm sure the MR&T's pasengers and fans will appreciate the opportunity to own a scale model of their local train."
