We have now received three reports that some of the TH&B cabooses recently shipped have a slightly different yellow on the cupola than on the rest of the body. We did some very scientific tests - Jason walked around with the caboose in his hand. He found the color variation completely invisible outside but slightly visible on some cars inside under our office lighting.
Because we want to keep our customers happy, we are going to make a small number of replacement cupolas. If you can see a color difference on your TH&B caboose and it's really bugging you, all you need to do is contact us and we will send you a replacement cupola when they arrive in February. Let us know what car number you have and the SKU number on the box. We need to know by Christmas so we can make enough cupolas.
